Mora, who worked as Jiménez’s photographer, had posted a video to his Instagram Stories moments before the crash. The short clip showed the view from inside the plane, filmed from the front passenger seat as the aircraft moved along the runway.

The aircraft, registered as N325FA, was later confirmed to have gone down in the area between Paipa and Duitama. Jiménez bought it in August 2022 after his popularity and wealth increased.
