She says she feels his presence even when she is not allowed near him. And right now, she says, she is no longer welcome at his bedside.

Margarita Aaron, who has repeatedly said she's married to "The Blind Side" actor Quinton Aaron, has been barred from visiting him as he recovers from a spinal stroke. Here's why and what she is pleading for now.

A Hospital Door Suddenly Closed

Sources close to Quinton's family said the decision to block Margarita from his hospital room was deliberate. An insider claimed she has been "banned" while his relatives investigate concerns they have about her relationship with the actor.

According to Us Weekly, Margarita is not denying that she is no longer allowed inside. Instead, she says she has accepted the situation.

"I'm OK with it, I'm at peace with this. Quinton and I pray a lot and believe in God and believe in a higher power. I can feel his presence telling me this will work itself out," she revealed on Wednesday, February 4, 2026.

That sense of calm, however, has done little to quiet the questions swirling around her.

Why His Family Drew A Line

According to the insider, Quinton's loved ones made a joint decision not only to restrict Margarita's access but also to avoid mentioning her to him at all.

The actor is reportedly not speaking yet as he continues his recovery. For that reason, the family has chosen not to bring her up, saying they want to "protect" him and keep the focus on healing.

Behind the scenes, tensions were already high. The source further alleged that Margarita attempted to isolate Quinton from his relatives during his hospital stay, something they say raised serious alarm.

However, Margarita strongly denied trying to block family members from seeing him. She said visitation limits were coming from the hospital itself. Apparently, people were only allowed into his room for five minutes a day, per new hospital rules.

She also dismissed claims from a source that a family member confronted her at the hospital. When asked about that supposed encounter, her response was sharp.

"If his family confronted me, I'd like to know which one. Not one of his family members confronted me in the hospital, and if they did, they were an invisible ghost with a sheet because none of them showed up," she said.

An insider close to the situation dismissed these words, noting that Margarita is well aware of the specific relative who confronted her.

The Marriage Question That Changed Everything

Yet, this disputed confrontation allegedly came with some serious accusations, as the unnamed relative claimed Margarita was lying about being married to Quinton and about being a registered nurse.

Of course, she first dismissed the allegations, but the insider later noted she told hospital staff she was "spiritually married" to Quinton rather than legally wed.

Margarita fired back, calling that story a lie, and insisted she never said those words to the staff. "But we are spiritually married. We are tied as one," she clarified.

And now, she has made a few claims herself, painting a very different picture of Quinton's relationship with his relatives, especially after his hospitalization.

She said she repeatedly encouraged them to show up and connect with him or even just video call. According to her, Quinton seemingly believed that his family didn't love him or they only wanted to use him.

Those comments stand in stark contrast to the family's current stance, which they say is about shielding him from stress during a critical moment.

The Legal Complication She Acknowledges

While denying several allegations, Margarita did admit one major detail. She is, in fact, still married to another man, but not for long.

She explained that she and her husband are separated and actively working toward finalizing their divorce. Furthermore, she also emphasized the time she spent caring for Quinton before being barred from visiting.

"I have watched Quinton in the hospital for seven days, I prayed, I watched this man go through trials and tribulations."

Still, despite the accusations and restrictions, Margarita only wants the conflict to end. "Instead of us fighting over him, let's fight for his life and what is right," she told Us Weekly.

Family Raises Red Flags

But his family is adamant. In a report published by TMZ, Quinton's brother Jarred Aaron first alleged Margarita was not legally married to Quinton at all.

His concern, he told the outlet, was not abstract. He worried she was misrepresenting herself to hospital staff while Quinton was unable to speak for himself.

Jarred said his fear was rooted in the most serious possibility imaginable: "I genuinely fear for my brother's life."

Claims About Medical Authority

Jarred further alleged that Margarita has been involved in making "crucial and life-saving medical decisions" on Quinton's behalf. He said that belief prompted him to speak out publicly.

Margarita disputed that characterization. She told TMZ that she did not have power of attorney and has never made medical decisions for Quinton.

She also questioned Jarred's credibility, noting that he lived with her and Quinton. "If he's saying I'm such a bad person, why does he live with me and Quinton?" she asked.

Jarred responded that he did not know they were not legally married at the time they shared a home.

What Quinton Knows and Does Not

One striking detail remains: Quinton himself has not been confronted with any of these claims.

Jarred said he has chosen not to tell his brother about the dispute while he recovers from the spinal stroke. He plans to wait until Quinton is stronger.

"I have all this crucial information that Quinton doesn't know about, and now it feels like I've gotten it too late," Jarred said.

Family Raises Broader Concerns

Beyond Jarred's comments, the wider family has now issued a formal statement that expands on their concerns. They say their doubts extend beyond the marriage itself.

"Since the health crisis of our beloved family member Quinton Aaron, we have raised some suspicions about the legitimacy of Quinton & Margarita's 'marriage' to each other as well as her legitimacy as a registered nurse," the statement reads.

They added, "We have found some alarming details. We as a family believe Margarita isn't who she claimed to be to us. This has caused us to want to investigate her further."
