Katie Price Shares Health Concerns For Son Harvey - Video
Speaking on "The Katie Price Show," the mother of five told her sister that her son — who weighs over 100 kg and lives with several complex medical conditions, including Prader-Willi syndrome — is at serious risk, and that doctors first issued that warning years ago.
Katie Price has broken her silence on a worry she can no longer keep quiet, and the words she used have stopped her listeners cold. The 46-year-old has recently spoken openly about her fears that her eldest son, Harvey Price, 23, could die of a heart attack if his weight continues to climb.

Speaking on her podcast, "The Katie Price Show," the mother of five told her sister, Sophie Price, that Harvey, who currently weighs around 30 stone (188kg), is at serious risk — and that doctors have already issued warnings about his condition.
Harvey has several complex medical diagnoses, including Prader-Willi syndrome — a condition that causes persistent, uncontrollable hunger and makes weight management extremely difficult.

He also lives with Septo-optic dysplasia, ADHD, autism, and oppositional defiant disorder. "When he sleeps, I worry because he's snoring and wheezing, and then sometimes he holds his breath," Katie told Sophie on the podcast, adding:
"He's massive, Soph. He's just getting bigger. He'll end up dying of a heart attack."

The glamour model continued to reveal that medical professionals had raised the alarm some time ago. "They've already told me years ago that if he don't lose weight, he's prone to a heart attack," she said.

The Search for a Solution
Katie revealed she has been trying to get Harvey prescribed Mounjaro, a medication used to treat obesity, but that progress has been slow. "I'm not slagging the NHS off, but they know he's in the obese category," she shared.
With options appearing limited, she told listeners she is now considering turning to her social media following for help locating a private doctor. "I just feel so bad. I'm going to have to do something," the mother of five lamented. "Something needs to be done; he's just huge."

What People Are Saying
The podcast has since prompted a wave of responses online, with many rallying around both Harvey and his mother. "Harvey is an adult ,and a rare condition .hope he gets help ,not easy being a mum of special needs child/adult [sic]," one person wrote.

Several others pointed directly to the nature of Prader-Willi syndrome as the root of the challenge.
"Harvey was born with health issues as he never feels full so as a parent that hard af course a mother going to feed her child when said mum I'm hungry course going to feed her child so people stop judging and look at the bigger picture [sic]," a second commenter said.
Katie's efforts to manage Harvey's weight are not new.
Another echoed the sentiment, writing, "With this medical issue he is all was hungry and he will do anything to get food as he body telling him to eat and he can not help it it very hard work for the family living with someone with these problems [sic]."
However, not everyone was sympathetic towards Katie personally. "This woman makes my blood boil," one critic added. "Shes been bankrupt twice but still found the money to go on holidays and have all them plastic surgeries [sic]."
"Just had her 17th boob job and her she is showing concerns for her son.. you should of put ur son before ur own selfish needs if you knew he was putting on weight its not like you didn't know that Harvey has a lot of health conditions [sic]," they continued.
Others kept their focus squarely on Harvey. "Get that poor boy help," one commenter said simply. Another person put the bind Katie faces into plain terms, typing, "She feeds him food to comfort him and being a mother she finds it hard to say no, but now it's paying on his health."
A Long and Ongoing Battle
Katie's efforts to manage Harvey's weight are not new. She has previously attempted dietary changes and encouraged him to exercise, with plans at one point to get him into boxing and gym sessions.
Last year, Harvey briefly began weight-loss injections and reportedly lost around a stone and a half. His condition, however, makes sustained progress particularly difficult. Katie has previously acknowledged that Harvey does not fully grasp the seriousness of his own health. She said last year:
"Obesity and his condition is sad. It's sad to see someone go through it and he doesn't understand."
Harvey is Katie's firstborn child. She gave birth to him in May 2002, following a brief relationship with former footballer Dwight Yorke, who has had no involvement in Harvey's life.
Despite everything, Katie Price's feelings on the matter remain clear. "I love him [Harvey]," she shared. "And I'm going to help him through this."
