Beyond acting, MacLaine has also ventured into writing, releasing "The Wall of Life: Pictures and Stories from This Marvelous Lifetime" in October 2024. The book serves as a visual memoir, featuring more than 150 personal photos spanning her 70-year career.

"I have lived a wonderful life, and I wanted to share it. All of the photos brought back such wonderful memories," MacLaine said about her book.
