The Facelift She Embraced – Then Reconsidered

MacLaine had previously opened up about undergoing a facelift as she sought to maintain a youthful appearance. She explained that for much of her life, she paid little attention to how she looked or dressed, as her film roles were not tied to beauty.

However, in her mid-50s, she began receiving more offers to play grandmother roles, which did not align with how she saw herself. She went on to have a facelift and was pleased with the results, even growing quite fond of her appearance afterward.
