Music star from the 1990's has sadly just passed away aged 46
The music industry and Rap will be the poorer today with the passing of a legend.
Legendary Rapper Craig Mack died at the age of 46 from heart failure, shared HollywoodLife.com on the 13th of March 2018.
The tragic news was confirmed by his producer. Mack first became famous as a revelation on the notorious Diddy’s Bad Boy label in the 90's. Producer Alvin Toney confirmed that the rapper had passed away on the 12th of March 2018.
The singer died in a hospital near Walterboro, South Carolina, where he resided. Craig's greatest hit was “Flava in Ya Ear,” from 1994 which was remixed by The Notorious B.I.G., and is considered a breakout performance for the rapper.
“He was prepared for whatever comes, to go home to the Lord. He was prepared to do that. He was ready.”

Toney revealed that Craig had been ailing for some time before he died. Craig is mourned by his loving wife and two adult children.
Craig rose to rap stardom in the 90's but his success was short-lived, and his second album released in 1997, was not as well received by critics or his audience.
Craig withdrew from the music scene in 2006, and in 2012 it was revealed that he had moved to South Carolina to join a cult at the Overcomer Ministry church.
He espoused a religious philosophy and often referred to his former life as one of 'wickedness'. He rejected his music as being counter to the cult's teachings.
His religious choices were not shared by his family who reportedly tried to dissuade, and him refused to move to South Carolina with him. His family, fans, and friends grieve over this man who died too soon, and with a great talent untapped.
