Doting mother Serena Williams shares a sweet photo of herself with 6-month-old daughter smiling

Serena Williams, 36, and her husband Alexis Ohanian welcomed their first child together six months ago and they immediately created an Instagram page for her. The little girl, Alexia Olympia, has been featured so many times on the page but each picture looks more beautiful than the last. The tennis star, who has admitted to wanting more children in the future, makes time to play with her child as does her husband and Reddit co-founder.

As Daily Mail reports, the tennis star recently posted a photo of her and her daughter on the Gram and captioned it; 'Sometime our "s" means shady.'

The tennis pro made her post-baby comeback during the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, California where she lost to her sister Venus Williams in the third round. The loss, fortunately, did not deter Serena as she made it clear that she planned to work harder to get back to her pre-baby shape.

As recently as Monday, the star joined other parties in breaking the ground at the new Miami Open site—also known as the Miami Dolphins football stadium for a state-of-the-art stadium to be opened in 2019. The star told Local 10 News that the move from Key Biscayne broke her heart at first, but she is glad that the tournament will still be held in Miami.

'When I heard they were going to move it, it literally broke my heart. I'm so happy this tournament is still going to be in Miami. I feel like Key Biscayne had some wonderful memories, especially for me, so many iconic moments (have) happened there. And now I feel like it's time to start new memories and new moments, and I feel it's going to be just as great.'
