Jinger Duggar reportedly reveals the sex of her baby being 23 weeks pregnant

Fans of Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo have been desperate for clues on the gender of the couple’s baby. For weeks now, they have been looking for hints in any of the Counting On star’s Instagram postings, even going ahead to interpret the color used to announce her ‘bumpdates’ as a clue. Well, Inquisitr reports that the star is not ready to reveal the gender yet.

In an interview with Us Weekly, the reality star told the publication that none of the revelations so far were clues. She said that she and her husband are yet to find out the gender of the baby, and so the blue chalk she uses in her announcements is not an indication that they are expecting a boy. “I just happened to use blue chalk that day and everyone automatically jumps to conclusions and it had nothing to do with that.”

“The gender has not been known and so it’s like, we just put blue chalk on that and everyone thought, ‘Ah, I know what she’s having now.'”

Asked if they intended to find out the gender of the baby, Jinger said they would as their baby is grow enough for an ultrasound, which can be done after 18-20 weeks of pregnancy. Jinger is 23 weeks along and so the relevant features are visible.

One of the other Duggar couple that is expecting; Joseph Duggar and his wife, Kendra Caldwell, have revealed that they are expecting a baby boy. While gender reveals have been a tradition in the Duggar clan, some of them are opting out of it like Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth who waited until the birth of their child to find out the gender. Whether Jinger and Jeremy plan to follow this route is unknown for now.
