Chrissy Teigen's husband shares an adorable photo of himself kissing his 23-month-old child Luna

John Legend gets a surprise visit from his daughter while rehearsing for his new musical.

He’s set to star in the musical ‘Jesus Christ Superstar Live!’ which kicks off on April 1. But on Monday, John Legend’s excitement over his latest venture was overshadowed by his apparent joy over getting a visit from her 23-month-old daughter Luna while rehearsing on the set of the popular production. The Daily Mail shared the scoop on on March 26, 2018.

Making sure the world knew how much he appreciated his daughter’s visit, the 39-year-old crooner shared an adorable snap on Instagram as he stood on stage kissing his tiny tot on the forehead while carrying her.

The photo taken by his pregnant wife Chrissy Teigen was captioned,

‘'Luna's on set! #JesusChristSuperstar.”

Just recently, John became the victim of social media bashing when a critic on Instagram described his being cast as the lead in the musical “a mockery to our lord Jesus Christ.” The original message posted on Chrissy’s account read,

"Sad to see ur hubby in Jesus Christ Super Star. That is a mockery to our lord Jesus Christ. The one who gave ya'll all [sic] ur fame n glory. That's a shame. SMH. Sad!"

Coming to his rescue, his feisty wife gave the commenter a piece of her furious mind when she spat back,

“You’re so right. You’re always right. You aren’t crazy at all. You’re a totally normal human and not at all a f**king loser.”

‘Jesus Christ Superstar Live!’ also stars Sara Bareilles as Mary Magdalene, Brandon Victor Dixon as Judas, and Alice Cooper as King Herod. David Leveaux will be directing the musical which will be housed in Marcy Armory in Brooklyn, New York.
