‘Dance Moms’ Abby Lee Miller looks completely unrecognizable after drastic weight loss

Abby Miller made her way through the gates of the Federal Correctional Complex in Victorville, California, a few months earlier than her release date. While news of the former ‘Dance Moms’ star’s release made headlines, it’s her slimmed down version of her former self that received more attention.

As Inquisitr reports, the 51-year-old is not as free as a bird. She still has lots of law to abide by and a probation officer to report to for the remaining part of her sentence. Miller was found guilty of bankruptcy fraud after she pleaded guilty in 2016 and she was incarcerated for one year and one day (366 days) when she the sentence was read last May. She will stay at a re-entry center in Long Beach, California, until May 25, when her original sentence ends. While in the halfway house, the former reality star will be counseled to make her re-entry to the free world easy before being set free.

Fox News expects Miller to have lots to say about her time behind bars. Prospects for new projects are also looking good as her story would be an interesting one. As for her encounters in prison, an insider said that “some things about prison were ‘absolutely horrific’ and other things were ‘pretty much the same,'”

Before Miller went to prison, she underwent a procedure called “sleeve gastrectomy” that reduced her tummy by 80% and it seems to have worked as she emerged from prison at least 100lbs lighter. She said when she was sentenced that she would treat her time in prison as her ‘me time.’

I’ve always put everybody else’s child first before my own health, before my own outfit, before my own time frame. Everybody else was dressed and out the door and looking perfect and I was running around trying to find a clean towel to take a shower with, so I think this will be a little ‘me’ time.”
