With their busy schedules, both Ellen DeGeneres and her wife of nearly nine years, Portia De Rossi, needed a well-deserved break.

The star couple banked on some downtime over the Easter weekend, and they shared their holiday pics with their Instagram and Twitter followers.

As reported by Pink News on March 30, 2018, both Ellen, 60, and the 40-year-old Portia decided to ditch their make up routines while on vacation. And their fans are loving it!

Ellen uploaded her photo on March 27, 2018, and it had already been viewed more than 2.4 million and received more than 17,300 in seven days.

Kimberley Louis Steward said the couple looks adorable while Celina Mille noted that Ellen is 'such a big inspiration.' She has been a fan since she was 12 and doesn't miss a show.

Melonie Price said that it is 'the most beautiful picture.' Tammy Jean-Marie concurred, and Dody Herrington remarked that the busy actors both deserved the break.

On the same post, Cindy Knoop said the couple is her 'daily inspiration.' The 61-year-old Cindy was in a vehicle accident 25 years ago and said Ellen keeps her going throughout the setbacks.

The couple vacationed in French Polynesia, an 'overseas collectivity of the French Republic. On March 31, 2018, Portia shared a photo of their beautiful accommodation.

In the caption, she noted that Ellen was 'working on her Netflix special in the most peaceful place in the world.' Portia added the hashtag 'French Polynesia.'

The couple started dating in 2004 and tied the knot in August 2008 when the ban on same-sex marriages was overturned.

Fans of Ellen can look forward to her upcoming projects. She was executive producer for the movie Couple Time, and a show titled Little Funny. Both projects are completed.

She will also produce Jekyll. The film, which is currently in pre-production, follows the story of the only living descendant of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde and will star Chris Evans.
