As published by an article on Entertainment Daily, Today show co-host Carson Daly shared an emotional post after laying his late mother to rest.

Daly shared a picture of the headstone that bore the epitaph ‘Patricia Jones Daly Caruso. Beloved Mom, Wife and Kiki.’

The photo of the stone also captured the flowers that were placed around it as a mark of remembrance, along with a picture of her and a prayer note.

Daly shared that his mother was buried in Lilesville, North Carolina, right next to where her mother and grandmother were laid to rest.

Given the proximity of her remains with those of her loved ones, Daly remarked that there would be happy to reunite with them.

He wrote that his mother had found home amidst the thoughts and prayers of her family members and God’s warmth.

In a hashtag at the end of the post, he mentioned ‘Family First,’ depicting his commitment as a family man above anything else.

Pattie passed away in December last year in her Palm Desert home. In Daly’s heartbreaking statement at that time, he revealed that ‘Kiki’, as she was lovingly called by her grandchildren, had touched many hearts.

An emotional Daly had stated that his mother had been a kind and high-spirited individual, and her absence would strongly be felt.

Support came pouring in for Daly’s loss on social media, and he was overwhelmed by the kind words that his fans and followers had shared.

He later shared a post with a note of gratitude towards everyone who passed on their condolences.

He also expressed that there were no words to describe the painful loss of his mother and that the supportive messages he received were helpful in his process of coping.

Daly also urged his followers to hug their loved ones and express their love for them.
