Katy Perry, 33, shows off a new tattoo on her wrist under a multi-colored light
AmoMama brings you news of Katy Perry’s newest tattoo. According to a 2nd April report by Daily Mail, the artist is adding to her bodywork in a special way.
Katy Perry, 33, celebrated Jesus on Easter with a new tattoo proclaiming her faith in the lord. This new bodywork comes amidst a heated legal battle with a nun over a hill-top convent on eight acres of land in the Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles.
The matter dates back 2015 when Katy the daughter of Evangelical pastors, tried to buy the property from the Archdiocese Of Los Angeles for $14.5m. The California Institute of the Sisters of the Most Holy and Immaculate Heart of the Blessed Virgin Mary went to court, baring the singer from acquiring the property. What was unknown at that point was that two nuns, Catherine Rose Holzman and Rita Callanan had already sold the property to restaurateur-hotelier Dana Hollister.
Katy and the Diocese of LA went to court, suing the Hollister of interfering with the property after the diocese contended that it was still the legal owner. A jury ruled in favor of Perry, ordering Hollister to pay $3.47 million to the archdiocese and $1.57 million to the American Idol judge for court fees.
The case took a twist when Sister Catherine Rose, 85, collapsed and died last month. Sister Rita was recently headlined as being so broke that she is at the verge of starving. Just before her death, Sister Rose had reportedly asked Perry to drop the case but she didn’t.
'To Katy Perry, please stop. It's not doing anyone any good except hurting a lot of people.'
The property in question has been owned by The Sisters of the Most Holy And Immaculate Heart Of The Blessed Virgin Mary for 40 years, but they haven’t lived there in so long. Now, the Archdiocese of Los Angeles needs permission from the Vatican to finalize the sale.
Perry hasn’t been vocal about the property. Let’s talk about this article in comments.
