The royal couple and all their fans are eagerly awaiting the arrival of the newest royal baby.

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, should be hitting her due date within the next few weeks, and sources close to her and her husband, Prince William, have admitted the couple doesn't even know the baby's gender.

As reported by Closer Weekly, the couple are content to leave the gender a surprise for the third time running, but are still eager to find out when the baby is born.

Last fall, shortly after it was announced that the Duchess is expecting, an unnamed source close to them explained that they were planning on leaving the gender a surprise.

"They’re taking each day as it comes. After you’ve had two children, the third usually feels like somewhat of a breeze so they’re just focused on Catherine and the baby’s health right now. Everything else can wait," the source said.

In addition, the couple don't have a preference either way, because they already have one of each a boy and a girl in the forms of Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

Apparently, the royal siblings are also both excited to welcome their little brother or sister to the family.

George has apparently not stopped rubbing his mother's belly since he found out she is pregnant.

Royal expert James McCourt also weighed in on the siblings' delight.

"He was too young to understand when Catherine was pregnant with Charlotte, but this time he's very excited. And she’s thrilled to be a big sister," McCourt said. "She looks out for Prince George, even though she's the younger sibling."

The little ones also apparently keep asking their parents about the size of the baby and the gender, something Catherine and William are unable to answer for their excited children.

In the early stages of her pregnancy, Catherine suffered from hyperemesis gravidarum, acute morning sickness. It is the third time she has suffered from it, and the condition has seen her hospitalized with each pregnancy.

Now, in the final weeks before the little one arrives, Catherine has finally gone on maternity leave, and is said to be resting up before the baby is due.

The couple have reportedly got no plans to add any more staff to their household when the new baby arrives, as they fancy themselves parenting gurus by this point!
