Carrie Underwood shared a new picture of herself after experiencing face surgery
Recovering from a fall might take people weeks and even months. When their face is the one that got damaged, their confidence might play against them.
That’s exactly what Carrie Underwood has been experiencing after the scary fall she suffered in November last year when she was taken to the hospital as soon as possible where she got 40 stitches on her face.
According to Closer Weekly, she has not been the same after that. She stopped posting new photos of her face on social media and even shared a message that she would only do it when she starts feeling confident again.
On April 4, 2018, she finally posted one. Even though it was not a selfie showing her entire face, people got very excited about it and, so far, it has garnered more than 420,000 likes.
It is a black-and-white image of her captured from one side showing her staring at something in front of her in what appeared to be a recording studio, which might suggest she is working on something new.
This new photo is just the third one she has posted since the accident took place and, just as the past ones, her face was not clearly shown, which means that her fans don’t actually know how bad the scars are.
On February 23, 2018, she published one of those three pictures on her Instagram account. It showed her and her husband, NHL professional Mike Fisher, promoting the End It Movement.
The back of Fisher’s hand had a red X drawn while Underwood was holding a big X right in front of her mouth, covering it.
On December 27, 2017, she posted the first photo after the accident. It was a close-up of her face wrapped in a scarf that only showed a small part of her nose and her eyes.
Her fans and followers cannot wait to see her face again and they are doing their best to raise her confidence. Margaret Hudon, an Instagram user, commented on her most recent photo that she was looking as beautiful as ever.
