Val Kilmer was spotted with neck brace after an update about his cancer battle

Actor Val Kilmer has not been making headlines lately especially after his battle with throat cancer was made public. He has been battling privately but he came out for some sun a few days ago and the actor looks like a shadow of his former self. He was spotted going to catch a movie in Los Angeles in a neck brace, a trucker cap, and sunglasses. Kilmer, who went in for Pacific Rim Uprising was trying to go incognito but some quick cameraman snapped a few photos.

Even in a puffy jacket, it was evident that the former Batman has lost lots of weight and he is a bit frail. Still, he reportedly walked upright and strongly regardless of what he is battling. He carried a tote bag around the movie theater as he made his way into different stands. The actor is still as tall as before and looks as though he is putting up a fight.

Kilmer has been battling the disease for many years now. Family worries that it could be getting worse as he is seen covering face with glasses and the neck with the brace almost every time he leaves the house. There have been fears among those who know the actor that the cancer has spread to his brain and there is not much that can be done for him now. Those close to him say he could be on the last leg of his life.

An insider told Radar;

“Val’s in dire straits. It seems like once cancer metastasizes, it’s very hard to control – even with modern science.”
