It seems like television fans are now more obsessed with the iconic TV show Roseanne after its reboot was finally premiered.

According to Closer Weekly, many people already forgot where the beloved sitcom, which originally aired from 1988 to 1997, was actually filmed.

The same source explained that Roseanne Conner, played by Roseanne Barr, and her lovely family all live in the fictional town of Lanford, IL.

The truth is that most of Roseanne's footage was filmed on the CBS lot in Studio City, CA. The home featured on the original ABC series, though, is located in Evansville, IL, six hours from Chicago.

In 2013, the iconic Roseanne house underwent a renovation and got completely updated with a new kitchen, new windows in all the main rooms, and new decking on the porch.

The house was listed for $129 999 and according to ABC News, it was listed for just $5 000 more than the current owners paid in 2009, despite the remodel.

The home's real-life buyer wanted to remain unknown, but Rosseane herself talked about knowing someone who might be interested in that house.

'I know someone who wants it!' she tweeted after it was placed up for sale.

The iconic TV series' comeback has earned itself outstandingly high ratings and many positive reviews for ABC after its premiere.

"We're thrilled that America has welcomed the Conner family back into their homes," Channing Dungey, president of ABC Entertainment, said after the show got renewed for Season 11.
