Shemar Moore shows off toned body while working out in recent photos he shares
The 'S.W.A.T.' star provides evidence of his fit physique appearing shirtless in a weight training session he features on his Instagram.
Shemar Moore has been recently enjoying his success as the lead in CBS’ new series ‘S.W.A.T.’ and he certainly isn’t taking it for granted.
A few weeks ago, the 47-year-old actor showcased his beefed up bod while affirming his current achievement and motivating himself to keep on climbing in a post he shared on his Instagram. Appearing shirtless in the photo he posted, the former ‘Criminal Minds’ star displayed his toned and muscled physique as he delivered his self-empowering message to his 2.5 million followers.
“24 YEARS IN THE GAME!!! DREAMING n FIGHTING!!!! My goal is to KEEP CLIMBING n WINNING.... and have a SIX PACK at 60!!!!”
It seems the actor is determined to stay in shape for his action-packed new show and he’s clearly working hard as evident in videos of his weight training he also shared.
'S.W.A.T.’ premiered in November last year with Moore leading the cast as Sgt. Daniel “Hondo” Harrelson, a role which according to the actor not only gives him an opportunity to shine but also opens doors for others. In an interview featured by the Daily Herald prior to his show's premiere, he was quoted as saying,
"I'm very passionate about this show for so many reasons because I've been in the game for 24 years and here I get to be a lead, I'm very proud of that. But I'm also smart enough and humble enough to understand that I can't do this by myself so it's not all about me."
Apart from being the crime drama’s lead, Moore is also a producer of the show which makes him even more challenged.
“I'm a producer on this show, so I get to give up my ideas to make the whole piece better, not just myself, just the whole show. I'm about the success of the show and the success of each individual that brings something to the table."
To be fit for his role, the actor admitted having to gain 10 lbs and changing his diet as he described Hondo as his former ‘Criminal Minds’ character Derek Morgan “on steroids.” This explains his devotion to staying the course in keeping his body in top shape. Luckily for Moore, his hard work is paying off with his body clearly in its best form.
