According to an article published by Entertainment Tonight, David Abrams, husband of the Beverly Hills, 90210 star Jennie Garth, filed for divorce last week.

Abrams submitted the official court document, in which he mentioned irreconcilable disputes as the prime reason.

The formal proceedings have begun almost 5 months after reports of their separation. The duo seemingly drifted apart and disagreed on several issues, after which they began living separately since last year.

Among other facts supporting the divorce plea, the document states that Abrams and Garth separated on August 29, 2017.

Another indication that things ended badly between the two is that Abrams has asked the court to terminate the possibility of granting any sum of money to Garth as part of the settlement.

The marriage troubles of Garth and Abrams had made news last year, and it appeared that they were giving one final shot at salvaging their relationship.

In November 2017, a representative of Garth had shared that the couple had decided to take a break from their work and focus on repairing their marriage.

However, it is said that situation failed to improve, bringing an end to their three-year-old marriage.

Garth and Abrams first met in 2014 on a blind date. Soon, they got into a committed relationship and got married in California a year later.

The 46-year-old actress has been married twice before tying the knot with Abrams. She and her second ex-husband Peter Facinelli raised three children together, Luca, 20, Lola, 15, and Fiona, 11.

While her marriage was ending on one side, she seemed to be spending her time with her children on the other.

Garth was recently photographed with her children attending the inauguration of the Yardbird Southern Table & Bar in Los Angeles.

She also recently shared a post on social media on the occasion of her 46th birthday, writing that her daughters meant the world to her.
