Patti LaBelle, 73, is dating her 43-year-old drummer Eric Seats, Daily Mail Online exclusively revealed.

The two have been seeing each other for close to four years now.

She tried to keep it lowkey at the beginning, but everyone around her soon figured things out.

She's completely smitten with him and they spend so much time together.

The music legend and Seats first met when he was hired to be her drummer several years ago.

LaBelle was just coming out of a bad relationship but thought Seats was attractive and she started to chat with him after her shows; he made her feel at ease and it wasn't long before he was helping her mend her broken heart.

Seats packed up and moved across the country just to be with her; he left Los Angeles for Philadelphia - where LaBelle is based.

'Everything they do now, they do it together. She hasn't seemed this happy in years. Apparently, those who know him, say he's always dated older women,' said a source.

Well, in August 2017, Seats took his belle to visit his grandmother and documented the visit by posting a picture of when the two older women met each other on Instagram.

According to reports, Mama Seats was initially surprised to meet how old her son's girlfriend was but she has since come around.

Her initial reaction as captured in the photo did not escape fans' watchful eyes and they said as much in the comments below the Instapost.
