Actress weighed only 39 lb and was very close to death. Now she looks unbelievable

Sometimes getting your ideal job can be life changing when you don’t know the dangers that come with it. The world of modeling can be exciting and dangerous at the same time.

¡Qué Pasada! reported that Rachael Farrokh, a former aspiring actress, started modeling and found herself suffering from anorexia. She lost so much weight that doctors expected her to die.

Rachael Farrokh wasn't always frail and thin. Ten years ago she had looked healthy and was full of life as she pursued her dreams.

But her professional career as a model forced her into situations which caused her to have low self-esteem and body dysmorphia. Getting deeper and deeper into modeling only resulted in Farrokh wanting to lose weight at all costs.

Her obsession later developed into anorexia. After seeing several doctors who ditched her completely, it was her personal trainer and boyfriend who managed to help her.

Initially, the desire to lose weight had begun innocently. But as time went by it quickly turned into an unhealthy obsession which started the eating disorder.

At one point she weighed less than 50 pounds. She started showing signs of chronic kidney disease and cardiac failure and doctors told her she wasn't going to make it.

But her partner, Rob, just wasn't willing to give up on her.

He convinced her to a GoFundMe page in which they would ask people to help her get the treatment she needed. Farrokh managed to find a good clinic in which she could get the right treatment.

She’s still fighting against the disease but she’s looking much healthier and doing well.
