New details of Nikki Bella and John Cena's breakup weeks away from wedding revealed

Many hearts were shattered when the favorite couple of WWE announced that they were going their separate ways after six years of being together. The news emerged when Nikki Bella took to her Instagram to release an official statement about their split. The statement read,

‘After much contemplation and 6 years of being together, John Cena and Nikki Bella announced their decision to separate as a couple. While the decision was a difficult one, we continue to have a great deal of love and respect for one another. We ask that you respect our privacy during this time of our lives.’

The split dealt a deadly blow on lovers and supporters of the wrestler couple as there were no signs that a split was pending as the duo seemed head over heels in love with each other.

Nikki and Cena never failed to flood their social media accounts with several loved-up photos of each other but we guess that was just some show off to the public.

Although fans didn’t expect the duo to end things, several hints were dropped along the line suggesting that there was trouble in paradise for the WWE couple.

Before Nikki took the bold step of announcing their split, Cena had taken to his social media accounts to share cryptic messages suggesting they were ending things. The 40-year-old wrestler who never captions his posts left the dictation to fans as she shared a picture of a quote that read,

‘We were together. I forgot the rest’

Later that day, he took to his Twitter to encourage fans with a Walt Whitman quote encouraging them to subscribe to Whitman’s quotes if they are feeling down.

Reports are the duo split up because they couldn’t seem to agree on the issue of marriage and children. Earlier, Cena had come out straight with Nikki that he was conventional as he didn’t want marriage or kids but she pressed and Cena finally gave in to marriage when he proposed to her but he was a no-no when it came to having kids.

Nikki tried to convince herself later on in the relationship that she didn’t want kids also but we guess she couldn’t lie to herself for too long.
