Courteney Cox is seen cozying up to her stunning teenage daughter. Their resemblance is uncanny
Courteney Cox and her daughter Coco shared details of their mother-and-daughter relationship in a recent interview with People Magazine.
Opening up about how the 53-year-old actress and her 13-year-old daughter really are when it's just the two of them, the former 'Friends' star said that she wants her daughter to be as open as she can be.
"I want her to tell me everything, and she doesn't want to tell me anything. We bicker, let's be honest, but we love each other. We laugh a lot, for sure."
Her daughter Coco also shared a lot about her relationship with her mom, saying that she loves her mom very much.
"I would also describe it as, well, I am a 13-year-old girl, you are a mom, so I love you, but of course we're gonna get in fights. But we're very close. Very close. I love you a lot."
Cox currently co-parents her only daughter with ex-husband David Arquette. The ex-couple supports each other very much despite their split, saying that they do not ever try to split anything.
"You don't want to go in one house and have anything split. You want it to be harmonious in both places."
Courteney is very proud of her daughter, who is a good singer that has been in 16 musicals.
"She does plays. I'm sitting there watching you be incredible, I just send you off to the plays to be incredible."
Aside from that, Coco loves to play the piano, although she wished her mom had signed her up for lessons since she was a kid knowing she'd be good at it.
"I wish my mom had made me play the piano because I do it on my own now, but if I'd done it consistently since I was a kid, I'd be great."
Courteney and David Arquette married in June 1999, and she gave birth to their first and only child in 2004. The couple divorced in May 2013, although they have been separated for almost three years since then.
That year, she dated Snow Patrol singer Johnny McDaid, whom she is dating up until today.
