Ciara Stuns with Her Breathtaking Family After Overcoming Past Struggles — 30+ Photos

The former pop star's road to her dream family ran straight through one of music's messiest public breakups, but the photos on the other side are worth every detour.

Ciara and Russell Wilson have spent nearly a decade building a life together that now includes four children, a love story that started with a very specific prayer, and a blended family that clearly has no shortage of joy. But before any of that could happen, things had to fall apart first, and they did so loudly.

When Everything Fell Apart

In October 2013, Ciara got engaged to rapper Future, and by May 2014, the two welcomed their son, Future Zahir Wilburn.

On Father's Day that same year, she gushed about her fiancé on Instagram, writing about baby Future clutching his dad's hand. Yet, three months after that, the engagement was over, with sources pointing to infidelity as the cause. Even her Instagram message changed to her son's name and birthdate only.
