Roloff family welcomes a future daughter-in-law as Jacob Roloff gets engaged to his girlfriend
The matriarch brought family and friends together to celebrate with the happy couple.
The Little People, Big World family gathered for a special celebration last Sunday. As reported by In Touch Weekly, the party was put together by Amy Roloff to celebrate the engagement of her son Jacob with his partner Isabel Rock.
The proud matriarch shared a post last week announcing the party, along with a few other interesting events that were scheduled for the weekend.
Roloff also shared that her friend Jack was coming over to meet her. She added that they would enjoy a candid conversation over coffee and snacks from her brand Amy Roloff’s 'Little Kitchen.'
Followers of the show were happy to hear about Jacob since he is one of the family members who had not been seen in the series for a long time.
At 18 years of age, he chose to discontinue being filmed for the TLC show. Since then, fans have been able to keep in touch with the 21-year-old’s life mainly through his social media updates.
Among the recent pictures shared by Jacob, there are quite a few photos of his fiancé Isabel.
Roloff returned to social media with a post after the engagement party, expressing that it had been a great event and had brought two families closer.
She also announced that the couple would be tying the knot next year.
While the party was hosted in an intimate setting, there was one major hint about the food menu. In a social media update, Isabel wrote that asked for a no-meat spread.
Isabel added that the reason behind her request was that the party was on the same day as Earth Day.
In a separate post, it was revealed that Isabel wore a black top and a multi-colored summer-themed skirt to the party, while Jacob wore a pair of jeans and a blue-and-red plaid shirt.
The 53-year-old mother and lead character of the show were seen wearing a blue deep neck beach dress while posing with the couple.
