Michelle Obama steals the spotlight from Melania Trump as she turns heads in stylish black dress

- The recent death of former First Lady Barbara Bush, and her funeral that took place on Saturday, brought together an eclectic mix of important people.

- In a photo taken by Paul Morse, Melania Trump can be seen posing together with Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama and Michelle Obama, to name but a few of the attendees.

- Both the former First Lady Michelle and current First Lady Melania appeared relaxed and smiling, but Michelle stole the show with her beautifully put together look.

AmoMama learned from ‘E! Online’ that former First Lady Michelle Obama and current First Lady Melania Trump got up close and personal at Barbara Bush’s funeral on Saturday.

Barbara, the wife of former President George H.W. Bush, passed away at the age of 92.

A photograph taken by Paul Morse shows an unlikely group of people posing together.

Michelle and Melania stood next to each other and both were wearing their best smiles, as can be seen from the photograph below.

The two ladies looked very relaxed in each other’s company and even President Trump’s former adversary, Hillary, is looking happy to pose for the photo.

Michelle appears radiant and some believe she might have stolen the show from Melania in this pic.

It also seems as if they have forgotten about the awkwardness that took place on the steps of the White House the day President Trump left Melania behind to ascend the steps by herself on inauguration day.

According to `News Week’ the awkwardness continued when Melania handed Michelle a gift, which created a bit of confusion before they were to pose for a photo together.

Speaking on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’, Michelle explained what that uncomfortable situation was all about.

‘There’s all this protocol. This is like a state visit. They tell you you’re gonna do this, you’re going to stand here. Never before do you get this gift, so I’m sort of like, ‘OK, what am I supposed to do with this gift? Everyone cleared out, and no one would come and take the box. I’m thinking, do we take the picture with [it]? Then my husband saved the day. He grabbed the box and took it back inside.’

Quite an innocent explanation for what took place that day.

It’s great to see that Michelle and Melania can put aside any differences and come together for such a special photo.

The fact that they can pose and smile next to each other means they are acting like adult women on whom good manners and etiquette is not lost.
