Miranda Lambert had a public run-in with ex-husband Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani
The hottest love-triangle in music history led to a showdown at the Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas
At the Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas on the 15th of April, singer Miranda Lambert came face to face with ex-husband Blake Shelton and his current girlfriend, Gwen Stefani, reported InTouchWeekly.com on the 21st of April.
Miranda performed her hit "Keeper of the Flame" while Blake and Gwen were sitting "directly in front of her in the first rows.
The couple who started dating in November 2015, immediately after Blake ended his marriage to Miranda, sat motionless throughout the performance and did not look or speak to each other.
Blake and Gwen had met on the music contest The Voice where they were co-hosts and coaches, and it was speculated that their mutual attraction was a direct cause of his divorce from Miranda.
Miranda won the award for Song of the Year for her hit-song "Tin Man," and in her acceptance speech, she explained that her album The Weight of These Wings, was written and recorded just after she separated from Blake in 2015.
Miranda went on to thank her fans for sharing her "broken heart."
The country music crowd seems to have taken Miranda's side and though most of the stars circulated and greeted each other, Blake and Gwen remained in their seats and no one approached them.
Miranda who had recently ended her relationship with Anderson East, attended the Awards gala alone. Gwen and Blake are said to be on the verge of taking their relationship to the next level.
They are rumored to be planning to tie the knot soon, and insiders have revealed that Gwen wants to have a baby. Her last child was born when she was 45, and she is now 49 but has declared that she is healthier than ever.
Some close friends speculate that the famous duo will be announcing the arrival of the baby on the same day they say their wedding vows.
