Jennifer Lopez 'dares to bare' onstage and flaunts sequined thong during show

The Pop diva proved that she still has what it takes to impress her fans and talked about the end of her show, Shades of Blue, as well as some upcoming projects.

Jennifer Lopez stepped on stage during the Time 100 Gala, which took place in New York City on Wednesday, April 25, 2018, wearing a rather odd and revealing outfit.

Photos and videos of the Lopez were taken and uploaded to the internet, which allowed millions of people to watch her perform in a sparkling thong and nude-colored bodysuit, as reported by Pop Culture.

The dashing look was complemented with a matching sequined bra-style top and high heels, which didn't seem to hinder Lopez's dancing skills as she entertained the crowd.

The 50-year-old has always been known her athletic side, and she might have more time in the future to be on stage now that Shades of Blue, the TV show that she's an executive producer of, is about to come to a conclusion.

The final 10-episode season is set to air on June 17, 2018, on NBC, and although Lopez confessed that she was sad about the end of an era, she felt that playing the role of Harlee helped her self-esteem.

"Now looking at it with a little distance, playing Harlee strengthened me and helped me grow into a more self-assured woman. It's crazy how some parts permeate your soul and change you forever, and for that I am grateful."

The show focuses on Harlee Santos' character, a single-mother and NYPD Detective who struggles with professional, financial and family problems on a daily basis.

No one knows when the finale of Shades of Blue will air, but Lopez already has the future figured out. She will continue being a judge on World of Dance, hosted by Jenna Dewan Tatum, and is currently working on a new album.

The singer also has her attention turned to the cosmetic world. According to the Independent, Lopez, in collaboration with Inglot, will be launching her make-up line by the end of April.
