Rodrigo Alves' obsession with cosmetic surgery has arguably made him look quite unnatural.

His transformation has drawn mixed reactions, but he is unfazed by criticisms.

The Human Ken doll took to his Instagram account on March 28, 2016, to show the world what he looked like before he underwent cosmetic procedures several times.

'With pride I share my life story and experiences with plastic surgery and the reasons that led me to reinvent my self,' Alves captioned the post

He added that he's very happy to be the true ambassador and speaker 'of a subject that a lot of people can benefit themselves from to have a better life and be happy!'

Alves was certainly a good-looking man without all of the surgeries, but it is his right to pursue any cosmetic enhancements available to him, according to Good Fullness.

The doctors said that he is perfectly sane but he is struggling with a mirror-related issue.

Alves has spent upwards of $500,000 so far on cosmetic procedures. He has had work done since 2004 but shows no signs of slowing down.

“People may think I am crazy, I am not. I have had psychological help. I was born in the wrong body,” he said, according to The Sun.

Alves knew exactly what he looked like. “I am exotic, I am good looking. I think people look at me because I look different," he said.

The 34-year-old Brazilian revealed that he had his first surgery at the age of 17 after being badly bullied at school.

He explained that it could have been different if someone had been there for him during those times he was bullied.

“My parents were going through divorce so I didn’t bother them. If they had noticed or the teachers had it would have been a very different situation," he said.

During that time, Alves was bullied because of his breasts and had his face pushed against the urinal because he had a wide nose.
