The couple drew a quite a lot of attention on Monday, May 7, 2018, especially because they had never confirmed that they were dating. But people won't have to wonder any longer.

The actress revealed that they were an item and that they felt good together, adding that nothing wrong was being done, as reported by People.

Dressed in a stunning sheer blue dress designed by Georges Chakra Couture, from their Spring/Summer 2017 collection, McPhee stole the show as she walked down the red carpet.

To complete the look, the 34-year-old wore golden jewelry, including golden bangles, as well as a cross necklace that nearly reached her waist. The result was amazing.

But, although she looked flawless, McPhee confessed that putting it all together wasn't easy. In fact, she described herself as a mere doll being dressed up, and that the last few hours on the chair were exhausting.

When asked about Foster, who she met on the set of American Idol in 2006, McPhee didn't dodge the subject but admitted that she had 'zero desire' to address it.

“Here’s how I look at it: I’m not doing anything wrong, so whether people think it’s true or false, I don’t, you know, there’s nothing bad happening in my life, so people can just say whatever they want."

The first hints that the actress was dating the 68-year-old Canadian musician popped up in 2017. At the time, Foster's daughter, Erin, said that she was excited about her 'new stepmom.'

Later, Erin tried to pass her words as ironic, claiming that she didn't mean to say that her father was romantically involved with McPhee. Nonetheless, suspicions were left in the air.
