1. Changing of Your Urinary Function
The change in the amount and frequency you urinate is the first sign of kidney disease. You're going to the bathroom more often, especially when it's time to go to bed

This might mean that your kidney filters aren't working the way they should. The best thing to do is to make notes of your daily visits to the washroom.
2. Difficulty or Pain While Urinating
Feeling pressure or pain while trying to urinate could mean that you have developed a urinary tract infection. This condition has the potential to spread to your kidneys.
3. Blood in the Urine
Your urine has blood in it. This is definitely not a good sign. This also means that your kidney filters might not be doing their job correctly and the blood cells are leaking into your urine.
You need to visit your doctor immediately because this is a direct symptom of kidney disease.

4. Foamy Urine
You're starting to see a lot of bubbles in your urine. This means that there's protein in the urine and the kidneys aren't filtering like they should've.
5. Swelling or Oedema
When the kidneys fail to remove the excess wastes and fluids in your body, these wastes and fluids will build up inside and the person will experience swelling of the feet, ankles, puffiness in the face and tightness in their hands.
6. Extreme Fatigue
The fact that your kidney has worsened its function means there will be a buildup of impurities and toxins in your blood. This will lead you to feel more tired than usual and therefore have less energy.
7. Inability to Concentrate
You should evaluate your concentration levels. If you never had trouble concentrating and now you do, that might be a problem.
8. Feeling Constantly Cold
Your body becomes anaemic if you have kidney disease. Anaemic will cause you to become cold in areas that are warm.
9. Skin Rashes and Itching
Severe itching and skin rashes can be a sign of advanced kidney disease.
10. Ammonia Breath
If you have kidney disease, the level of urea in the blood will increase. The urea causes ammonia breathe.
11. Nausea and Vomiting
You will experience nausea and vomiting more often if your kidneys are failing.
12. Shortness of Breath
Severe kidney disease can cause a buildup of fluid in the lungs. This condition can leave you with a feeling of breathlessness.
