Duchess of Cambridge broke tradition by not sharing birthday photos of Princess Charlotte

Social media users are concerned about the Royal Family not sharing any new photographs of Princess Charlotte for her third birthday.

Kensington Palace took to Twitter to share a photograph of Princess Charlotte on the occasion of her third birthday. But several social media users have shown their concern that there weren't any new photographs of the Princess shared.

According to All Cute All The Time, Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton shares a beautiful birthday photograph of her children with her fans. As a photography-enthusiast, Middleton enjoys snapping pictures of her children and sharing it with the world

However, on May 2, Kensington Palace posted a tweet but used an old photograph of the Princess, which was taken earlier in January this year during Princess Charlotte's first day of nursery school.

As soon as the tweet appeared on social media, Twitter user, Sprinklefriend tweeted his concern. ' I was looking forward to new pictures! George had several released on his 3rd birthday and we get NONE for Charlotte's? Not cool.'

The Twitter user expressed his disappointment that there were several photographs of Prince George shared during his birthday but there were no new photographs of Princess Charlotte.

Another Twitter user, JKD, came to the Duchess' defense and replied to Sprinklefriend's tweet by writing, 'If The Dutches doing parenting on her own, she might not have a lot of time.'

Some Twitter users even took time to dig out facts regarding exactly how many photographs had been shared of the each of Middleton's children. Twitter user Prince Louis tweeted questioned why the parent did not have even 'one minute to take a new photo of Charlotte.'

He wrote in his Tweet that Prince George had 3 photographs for his first birthday, while Charlotte had 4 photographs taken on her first birthday. On each child's second birthday, one photograph was taken.

The Twitter user then claimed that on George's third birthday he had four photographs taken while there were none new pictures of Charlotte shared.
