Tina Turner gets dragged by her adopted son for allegedly abandoning him and her family in the US

- Tina Turner is one of the best-selling rock & roll artists of our time; not only did she became a sensation back in the ‘70s, but her contributions to music still keep her as one of the most relevant females singers of all time.

- Turner’s life was not easy, from growing up poor to being abused by her husband, Turner has gone through a lot, and according to one of her sons, she has decided to leave her past behind for good after she moved to Europe.

AmoMama learned from the Daily Mail that when Tina Turner decided to leave America and start a new life in Europe back in 1994, she was not joking about leaving her past behind, as according to her son Ike Turner Jr. she hasn’t spoken to her sons in years.

The 59-years-old producer recently talked exclusively to the news portal and revealed an ugly truth about his mother, and that is the fact that she basically abandoned her family in the United States as she built her new life with German music executive Erwin Bach, with whom she married just five years ago after being together for 27 years.

Tina is a mother of two biological children, Craig, by Raymond Hill, and Ronnie, by Ike Turner, and is also the adoptive mother of Ike’s two sons from his first marriage to Lorraine Turner: Ike Jr, and Michael.

Ike Jr recently revealed that:

‘Tina raised me from the age of two. She’s the only mother I’ve ever known. But I haven’t talked to my mother since God knows when – probably around 2000. I don’t think any of my brothers have talked to her in a long time either.’

The man, who dropped school to work at his father’s studio back in the day and eventually became a sound engineer and producer, also revealed what’s happening with his brothers, as he said that they’re doing fine even without being in contact with their mother.

He said:

‘I talk to Ronnie periodically – he’s in great health and married to singer Afida Turner. Craig is in real estate. They both live in LA. Michael is in a convalescent home in Southern California and needs medical support. I’ve been to see him quite a few times. He’s doing great.’

Tina and Ike Turner’s relationship is part of the legend associated with the singer, as she’s not only recognized for her musical talent, but also for being a woman that was able to leave her abuser on her own accord after 16 years of being physically abused, a situation that was revealed by the 78-years-old in her memoir book ‘I, Tina.’

Of his parent’s relationship, Ike Jr. said:

‘My mother and father had no more fights than the people next door to you. I think their problem was her mouth and his mouth – my father didn’t take s**t from nobody.’

Tina recently attended the premiere of the new musical ‘Tina: The Musical,’ in London, and none of her kids were invited to the event, where she stated in front the audience, that after so many years, she finally forgave her late husband Ike Turner.

We’re sad to hear from Tina’s son such news, about her abandoning her sons just because they’re part of her old life with Ike; after all, they had no faults in her relationship with the late rocker.
