'Duck Dynasty' family asks fans to pray for beloved young member amid health crisis

Jase and Missy Robertson from the reality show, Duck Dynasty, have asked people to pray for their daughter. According to a post by Missy, Mia Robertson will be going through surgery again.

Mia has had different surgeries throughout her life to correct a condition she has. Missy’s post revealed that the doctors had given them good and bad news about the operation according to her Twitter post.

Faith Family America reported that the Duck Dynasty family is currently facing a tough time with a pending operation in the works. Mia Robertson, 14, has gone through many surgeries in the effort to correct her cleft lip and palate.

Her mother, Missy, chose to be open about the struggles that her family deals with because of her daughter’s condition. The disability has caused the teenager to face developmental challenges.

Despite this, Missy has stayed positive and kept her faith in God. She shared that Mia had brought ‘so much depth to our lives and to our faith, and she has brought so much meaning to what life is about.’

The upcoming surgery that Mia will undergo will be in the summer. On Wednesday, Mia’s mother tweeted an update about the upcoming surgery.

‘After a long day of doctors’ appointments & travel, we heard good news & not-so-good news about Mia’s progress. Knowing that our God is the Great Physician is the best news of all.’

In the post, she asked her fans and followers to keep praying after the doctor revealed some mixed news. The report from the doctor was not what they were hoping for.

Without revealing what the bad news was, Missy, declared that God was a ‘great physician.’ In her book, Blessed, Blessed…Blessed, she shared her family’s process and how God was them through the challenges they’ve faced.

According to Focus On The Family, she said God knew what was best for them. She added that she knew this as a fact in her heart.

The reality star also shared that she knew that God loved her children more than she did.
