The Santa Monica Police reported that the daughter of Sean Penn and Robin Wright, Dylan, was arrested for intoxication after she had a fight with her boyfriend. The incidence happened months before she checked into rehab, but it wasn’t the first.

Sean Penn and Robin Wright’s child, Dylan, has had a few altercations, including a 2015 DUI. Santa Monica Police Lieutenant Saul Rodriguez told Radar the 27-year-old was first arrested for public intoxication after getting into a brawl with her boyfriend back in the fall of 2013. Rodriguez said the authorities were alerted of the intoxicated model walking down Main Street by her boyfriend.

“The male flagged down our officer and told him that they were having some sort of problem. Our officer got out, spoke to them, noticed that that Ms. Penn had been drinking, advised him to separate for the evening and possibly not stay together because they were in an argument.”

The couple separated and no charges were pressed, but the police were to be alerted of yet another disturbance involving the two of them later that evening. “Police received notice that they were on the street regarding a possible argument that escalated into someone possibly being hit.”

Although the police established that no one had been hurt, it was noted that Dylan was still intoxicated. “The same officer responded and when he confronted her again, he noticed she was still under the influence and unable to care for herself. It appeared it would’ve continued to escalate so she was taken into custody for being drunk in public,” said Lt. Rodriguez.

The 2013 incidence was not the last brush with the law for Dylan as she was arrested for driving under the influence in 2015. The model’s troubles with liquor and the law would continue for another two years until the summer of 2017 when she checked into an Arizona facility for six months.

Tragically, Dylan is not the only Penn battling substance abuse. Her brother, Hopper, was arrested last year for possession of controlled substance.
