Justin Bieber posts cryptic message on social media following his absence from the Met Gala.

The Met Gala ceremony was the happening thing on Monday night as the brightest of stars across all entertainment cultures graced the occasion.

Absent from the glamorous event was Singer Justin Bieber.

Before the event, it was reported that Bieber’s former flame, Selena asked him to accompany her to the ceremony, but Bieber stood her up.

Fortunately, all hope wasn’t lost for Selena as she had a swell time with her friends Kylie Jenner and Gigi Hadid.

Well, it seemed Bieber was pained by the fact the Selena had a swell time without him as he took to his Instagram to post a cryptic message.

In the post, Bieber shared a photo of a note that read,

‘HEY WORLD THAT GLAMOROUS LIFESTYLE YOU SEE PORTRAYED BY FAMOUS PEOPLE ON INSTAGRAM DON’T BE FOOLED THINKING THEIR LIFE IS BETTER THAN YOURS I CAN PROMISE YOU IT'S NOT!’

It’s not sure if the post was directed at Selena alone as one of Bieber’s flings Hailey Baldwin was also present at the Gala.

However, Hailey wasn’t by herself as her singer boyfriend Shawn Mendes accompanied her to the event.

It could also be possible that Bieber was genuinely giving his fans advice on how to live life right as he’s known for sharing his beliefs on social media.

No one knows the motivation behind his message. However, with two of his former flames present at the Met Gala and having fun without him, Bieber must feel some sting.
