Tori Spelling shares a 12-year-old throwback snap with her husband on their anniversary

The mother of six reveals her deepest sentiments 12 years after she married her soulmate.

Tori Spelling is a happy wife and she celebrated that recently when she posted a photo from her island wedding in Fiji 12 years ago to mark a special milestone in her marriage to Dean McDermott.

Describing their story then, the 44-year-old star recalled,

“12 years ago today... a girl and a boy came together all alone on a tropical island to proclaim their love for each other as they were pronounced husband and wife...”

“I was finally the princess in my own fairytale. Fiji will always be a magical place for us.”

Marking their 12thyear anniversary with a beautiful photo of the couple against the backdrop of sand, sea and sky, Tori was grateful for everything they’ve shared.

“Today I celebrate the love and passion I share with @imdeanmcdermott and the 5 blessings that we’ve created together."

She also revealed Dean is her soulmate, someone she’s lucky enough to have found along with the rest of her family.

“Some people search their entire lives to find a soulmate. I’m one lucky woman because I have 6!”

The couple who earlier this year have been in the headlines due to their domestic troubles flew to Hawaii to spend some quality time and rekindle their romance. Revealing this was their first time traveling without their children since having them, Tori was both anxious and excited about the trip. She told her followers on Instagram,

“When is the last time you traveled to a sunny vacation locale without your kiddos?. We’ve never! Last time was almost 12 years ago when we got married in Fiji. This #mamabear was anxious leaving the kiddos but enjoying reconnecting with my love. So important!”

The couple were photographed in front of a waterfall looking relaxed and at ease, a contrast to their recent tumultuous past.

On March 1, police were sent to their home after a call alerted them of a disturbance in the couple’s home. A week later, Dean asked for police assistance to track down his wife who brought some of her children at the doctor’s office.

It seems all that is behind them now with their much needed reconnection in Hawaii. And it’s clear from Tori’s posts during their vacation, paradise is once again upon them, as the actress also affirmed.
