Serena Williams shares a photo with her 8-month-old baby as she flashes a smile

The doting mom captures an adorable moment with her daughter revealing their undeniable bond.

Serena Williams couldn’t feel more blessed to become a mother and she usually updates her fans on the joys of being one to her 8-month-old baby Olympia. A few days ago, she again took the time to capture a bonding moment between her and her precious little girl posting two selfies from the poolside of her home.

With her husband Alexis Ohanian in Austin for his start-up Open Listings, Serena took the opportunity to spend some quality time with her daughter and made sure to document it on her Instagram. Sitting side by side by their pool, the tennis star smiled as her daughter stared at the camera for their adorable selfie. While their first snap was picture perfect, Olympia chose to look away for the second one, producing a candid moment worth sharing as well.

The photo was all things happy with the duo wearing bright colored clothes and Serena’s smile as bright as the sunshine that glowed on her almost make-up free skin. Serena's light blue sleeveless top perfectly complemented Olympia's yellow shirt.

Her post was captionless, as her photos spoke for themselves. It was clear she had a strong bond with her little one and the joy she felt as a mother was evident in her smiling eyes.

Serena and Alexis welcomed Olympia in September last year, just three months before they tied the knot in November. Just recently, the tennis champ launched her documentary series ‘Being Serena’ which follows her life from the time she got pregnant and after. The three-episode special debuted on May 2.

Weeks before her show aired, Serena plugged her show on Instagram by posting a photo of herself in a skintight swimsuit in an effort to reveal her imperfections. Echoing her thoughts that day, she wrote,

"I'm not perfect. But I'm perfectly Serena."

No doubt, many will agree it's more than alright to be perfectly Serena.
