When people think of Emma Watson's childhood, those who know her would be reminded of her nerdy and curly-haired character Hermione Granger on the hit movie series 'Harry Potter'. However, the actress shared a throwback photo of herself when she was much younger, away from her costume and instead donning an all-pink outfit.

Many people imagine young Emma Watson to look like her famous character Hermione Granger, complete with her big curly hair and her simple colorful clothing.

However, what her fans don't realize is that she lived a completely different life from her character, stripped away of her curly hair and instead sported short and straight wavy hair.

Moreover, moving away from her sweater and colored pants look during the earlier 'Harry Potter' films, Emma would also wear sleeveless tops and hip hats when she headed out.

Now that baker's hats and berets are 'in' again, Emma made sure to point out that she used to wear those kinds of hats even before it became a trend.

In her caption, Watson showed just how happy she was that she found this old picture of herself wearing this adorable pink outfit.

"I’m REALLY glad this picture of me wearing a baker’s hat exists! #oldheadshotday"

Just recently, Emma reunited with two of her 'Harry Potter' co-stars during a night out. The Hermione Granger actress spent time with Tom Felton who played Draco Malfoy and Matthew Lewis who played Neville Longbottom at a local joint, catching up like old time's sake.

The 'Harry Potter' star has been a fierce advocate of gender equality and human rights, taking some lessons from her character Hermione Granger with her, who was also a fierce advocate of doing what is right.

Emma has gone a long way since her childhood days, now being one of the most influential women on Earth, using her fame as a platform to raise awareness on different social issues that plague the world today.
