Andy Cohen frankly confesses about the drunkest person at the 2018 Met Gala
After initially giving a vague answer to the question made by one of his viewers over the phone, Cohen finally named the drunkest celebrity at the Met Gala to Howard Stern.
A week after one of the callers to his nightly series Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, fueled everybody’s curiosity with his interesting question, the talk show host revealed whom he thinks was the drunkest guest at the 2018 Met Gala.
As E! Online reported, Cohen spilled it out at the May 16 episode of SiriusXM The Howard Stern Show, putting an end the mystery surrounding the level of intoxication of the celebrities at the annual fundraising fashion event.
When he was asked the question of who was the drunkest after-party attendee on May 8, in the company of model Winnie Harlow and celebrity stylist Brad Goreski, he teased that a fellow talk show host was the drunkest person at the event.
Although he didn’t say exactly who it was then, his answer narrowed down the options to Stephen Colbert, Trevor Noah, and James Corden, when he replied: ‘Oh! He's another talk show host—and it's not Jimmy Fallon.’
But when the 49-year-old was interviewed by the irreverent Stern, he confirmed that the celebrity he was talking about was the host of CBS The Late Late Show.
‘It was James Corden. But by the way, he wasn't like blotto blotto, he was having a good time. He's great,’ shared Cohen.
Cohen wasn’t exactly sober either, as he admitted to Stern that he had ‘an edible.’ More than that, his date for the night was Sex and the City’s Sarah Jessica Parker. They both shared a table with actress Emilia Clarke and singer Nick Jonas.
The TV host was having so much fun at the gala that he apparently didn’t want the night to end. He told Stern that later he grabbed cheeseburgers with Fallon and some other friends at Julius, a gay bar in New York.
