Jimmy Kimmel gets kissed by Diane Keaton during an interview

When movies are released, the actors involve usually promote them in TV and radio shows. That’s exactly what Diana Keaton did on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

During the episode of the talk show released on May 16, 2018, Keaton and Kimmel were talking about the actress’ new movie titled Book Club, wherein she worked with Jane Fonda, Candice Bergen, Mary Steenburgen, and Andy Garcia.

As shown in a video uploaded to the YouTube channel of Jimmy Kimmel Live, Keaton told Kimmel that she liked Garcia better than him. She later asked Kimmel if he wanted to know what happens with her and Garcia in the film, and Kimmel agreed.

Keaton asked him to stand up and began explaining to him and the audience that, at the end of the film, her character was supposed to kiss goodbye Garcia’s character.

She pointed out that men are the ones who usually do what she was asked to do, but it was different in that particular case. Keaton then slowly approached Kimmel and grabbed his face.

When she was ready to kiss him, the black hat she was wearing blocked her path. Keaton and Kimmel started laughing but she knew she had to finish what she had started.

She went back to the ‘kissing’ position, said her character’s line: ‘Okay baby,’ and finally kissed Kimmel while the surprised audience cheered and applauded. After being speechless for a couple of seconds, Kimmel said that his dream came true.

Before leaving the set, Keaton said that Kimmel was ‘stiff’ to what he tried to defend himself saying that he didn’t get much action and nobody cared about him.

Book Club, which was released on May 18, 2018, addresses four old women who spend their lives attending their book club reunions where they read and analyze typical books.
