The Sun: Meghan Markle's sister offers to reconcile with Duchess of Sussex
The publication reported that it spoke to Meghan’s half-sister after the wedding to hear her thoughts. Samantha Grant shared that she hoped they could reunite.
Her change of heart came after she heard Bishop Michael Curry’s words about love and forgiveness at the Royal wedding. The Sun stated that Curry’s words gave Grant hope that she and her sister could reconcile.
Grant is pleading for Meghan, 36, to be open to them reuniting. This was after the two had been estranged from each other for a decade.
Grant watched her sister marry Prince Harry on her TV at her Florida home. She revealed that “I watched the bishop talk about love and unity and forgiveness and I hoped it would strike a chord within Meghan.”
Meghan’s older sister said she hoped they could work towards a peaceful resolution and reunion as a family. Grant stated that she felt a religious and moral obligation to be open to her sister instead of being vindictive, isolating, and hurt.
“If she wants to do the morally and religiously right thing then she will and I’m open to that,” she added. The turnaround by Grant is surprising especially since she’s writing a tell-all book on the Duchess.
“This should ride on her conscience as a moral obligation to at some point communicate with me and be united rather than divided – as that was the whole message.”

Their relationship has been so toxic she that the book has been titled The Diary of a Pushy Princess. Meghan’s sister shared that she would wait to hear from her and not stress about it.
Grant reprimanded the Duchess by saying that if she felt the Markle’s weren’t worthy then she would be going against the tenets of her baptismal vows. The wheelchair-bound sibling added that she felt Meghan had to practice the church’s principles and not just speak about them.
The sister shared that their father, Thomas Markle, 73, was now being secretly cared for in LA after he had heart surgery. She revealed that he was still in the hospital and would be taking blood thinners probably for the rest of his life now.
Grant said that Thomas had told her that his baby was beautiful after he watched the wedding on TV. She stated that he was happy and proud.
The 53-year-old is determined to defend her publicly shamed father’s honor after she encouraged him to set up paparazzi pictures before the wedding. She admitted that he would regret not walking Meghan down the aisle.
She called on Prince Harry to fly him over once he had recovered. According to Grant, he would be fulfilling a lifelong dream of visiting Buckingham Palace.
