Fox released an official teaser trailer for the 'Last Man Standing' reboot

Though the show was canceled after six seasons, it is now set to make a comeback and is the latest to join the long list of reboots on television.

FOX reported that the highly successful show Last Man Standing, starring Tim Allen, will air during the 2018-2019 season.

It came as a surprise to many when ABC Network announced that the show would be canceled. The fans of the highly-rated show were devastated.

Just a year after it was taken off the air, there were rumors that the show was going to make a comeback.

FOX confirmed the reports and said that the show will air with the seventh season. The official trailer has created quite a bit of excitement among fans.

Allen, who also serves as the executive producer of the show, said that he was excited about coming back with the show. He said that the team was doing extremely well in the sixth inning, but was puzzled to be sitting in the dugout.

He said, “When I heard the offer to create more episodes of Last Man Standing, I did a fist pump so hard I threw my back out.”

The 64-year-old actor added that he was grateful for the support of the fans who wrote petitions and kept the passion alive

It is believed that the network may have decided to bring back the show after a successful reboot of Roseanne.

The show follows the life of Mike Baxter, a married father of three girls, as he tries to maintain his manliness in a world increasingly dominated by women.

The show also stars Nancy Travis, Jonathan Adams, Amanda Fuller, Christoph Sanders, and Jordan Masterson. Created by Jack Burditt, Last Man Standing is produced by 20th Century Fox Television.

During the 2016-17 season, the show averaged 8.3 million viewers in Live + 7 ratings. It came second in the most-watched comedy category for ABC. During the same season, it was ranked No. 1 new program across all syndication.
