Body language expert says Duchess Meghan appeared submissive in wedding portrait
Kensington Palace released a number of photos taken by photographer Alexi Lubomirski after Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan’s wedding.
The first one showed Meghan sitting between Harry’s legs, the next one portrayed all members of the Royal family and Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland, and the third one showed the pageboys and bridesmaids next to the newlyweds.
Express reported that body language expert Judi James analyzed all three and pointed out two aspects of it: Meghan was in a submissive stance and the Royal order was restored.
In two of the images, Meghan appeared sitting at her husband’s feet. One of the most surprising aspects of it is that Meghan is a known feminist, so that submissive behavior might shock not only James but also everybody else
While Meghan was staring at the camera showing a beautiful smile, Harry’s ‘naughty grin’ made him look like one of the little pageboys, a fact that his wife might like to take note.
James also talked about the family picture because, according to her analysis, the royal order was reestablished. The previous royal portraits showed a fun and slightly spontaneous personality of those involved.
Meghan and Harry chose to have a much more serious and formal one as the couple stood in the middle of the group in an upright pose staring at the camera. They were not either touching or looking at each other.
Finally, James pointed out that the image proved how close the relationship between Meghan and Doria is. Meghan, who was in front of Doria, slightly turned her body towards her mother, showing fondness and unity.
According to Knightayton, James is a leading communication and body language expert who regularly appears on a number of high profile TV and Radio programs, including BBC News, Sky News, CNN, Big Brother.
Apart from analyzing body language, she used to be a leading catwalk model. James has trained many important models at her modeling school in Chelsea, including Naomi Campbell.
