Former 'Criminal Minds' star shared with fans a never-before-seen photo from her pregnancy

Jennifer Love Hewitt gave her fans a blast from the past by sharing an unseen photo during her pregnancy on social media.

The Criminal Minds star took to Instagram in honor of the social media tradition Throwback Thursday and shared the first picture taken by her husband, Brian Hallisay, while she was 14 weeks pregnant.

The black and white photo featured the 39-year-old actress' baby bump as she stood topless in front of the balcony of her home covering her chest with her hands.

The photo was captured in 2013 when Jennifer was pregnant with her first child, Autumn James Hallisay. Jennifer and Brian tied the knot on 21 November 2013, and have two children together, 4-year-old Autumn and 2-year-old Atticus.

The actress captioned her image by saying that she had no idea how her body would change when she took the photograph. She admitted that the photo brought back many emotions from the past.

She recalled her journey on how her life changed from the time the photo was taken. Jennifer added that marrying Brian was the best decision she ever made in her life. She cherished having children with him and watching them grow.

The actress has taken a step back from her career in Hollywood since she appeared on Criminal Minds. She exited the show in 2015 and had chosen to focus more on her family of four.

Recently, Jennifer announced that she would return to the small screen on the second season of Fox's popular drama show 9-1-1, as reported by Hollywood Reporter.

Jennifer would be playing the role of firefighter Evan Buckey's sister, Maddie, on the show. The character Buckley, aka Buck, is played by Oliver Stark.

She told E! News that she loved the show and loved doing drama. She praised the cast of the show and called them 'extraordinary.' Jennifer revealed that when screenwriter Ryan Murphy called her for the role, she was thrilled about making a comeback.
