Tia Mowry is one of the sweetest celebrities around as is her sister. They must have had a good upbringing, you could say, for them to remain humble even after all their success. Their parents were in the military, so that could explain it.

Tia Mowry and her siblings were raised by military parents, which makes sense seeing as how well they turned out. Tia, who just became a mother for the second time, could not Memorial Day pass without recognizing the men and women who put their lives in the line to fight for their country. In a heartfelt Instagram post, the actress and mother of two added an old photo of her parents in uniform to honor them and others like them for their service.

“We honor those today who have fallen. Both my parents served in the army. My dad, on the right trained many that went to war. The gulfwar to be exact. It’s important we never forgot their strength and bravery and those who have died to protect our country. Us

Tia, who starred alongside her sister, Tamera in Sister Sister, gave birth to her second child with husband Cory Hardrict. Announcing the birth, The Game actress wrote on Instagram; "Feeling grateful and blessed as we welcome our little baby girl into the world!" Tia wrote alongside a photo of her cradling the newborn. "Born May 5th at 10:29 am at 6 pounds and 4 Oz 19.8 inches. We are in heaven."

The couple already has a 6-year-old son, Cree. When talking to Women’s Health about her second pregnancy, Tia noted that it was much harder than the first. She had endometriosis, which made both the first and the second pregnancies difficult. Thankfully, she had stellar support. “I don’t think I could have gotten through this process without the support of my husband. I think it’s really important that someone is there encouraging you, rooting you on, saying you’re not alone, helping you feel stronger and more powerful.”

So great of Tia to honor those who served and in service.
