In fact, most of the fans agreed that a cold canned drink could bring relief to baby’s sore teething gums. Rubbing alcohol on a baby’s gums to alleviate teething pain is common practice.
A fan called Rebecca Criswell wrote on Twitter, ‘He's teething cold can Probably feels good on his gums........ A true fan would know you would not feed your son beer.....’
Another fan named Diane Padziora added, ‘When I was his age my mom put whiskey on my gums for teething.’ Some of the fun criticism he received had a lot more to do with his choice of drink than whether he allowed his son to actually drink.
A few fans made fun of the fact that Aldean had allowed Memphis to drink Coors beer instead of another brand. They encouraged the singer to rather give the little boy a Bud Light or another brand.
Fans understood that the country singer would never be irresponsible enough to give his baby a beer in real life. Ultimately, the post became a fun one as Aldean had intended.
