'A Different World's' Cree Summer cuddles with young daughters while singing together in sweet video

The proud mom shows off her daughter's singing skills along with other precious moments she shares on her Instagram page.

She made a name for herself as the ditsy college student Freddie in the 80’s sitcom ‘Different World’ and now years later, Cree Summer is a proud mother of two lovely daughters who are clearly the apple of her eye.

Motherhood seems to be at the top of the 48-year-old actress’ list of priorities lately as a trip to her Instagram account reveals. The mother-of-two who shares daughters Brave, 7, and Hero, 5 with husband Angelo Pullen has flooded her social media account with snaps of her little girls who clearly hold a very special space in her heart.

In a recent post, she showcased their singing skills in a video where mother and daughters sang to David Bowie’s ‘Magic Dance.’ The trio cuddled on the couch of their green-colored living room as they sang the lyrics to the song from the 1986 film ‘Labyrinth.’ In her caption, the cowboy-hat wearing mom wrote,

“Mama and The Savages and Labyrinth... #godblessthefreaks#wemissyoudavidbowie ❤️ @bethannhardison #thegoblinking#labyrinth @_vanessacolorado”

A couple of days prior to their musical video, Cree also posted another video of her and younger daughter Hero that seemed to have been taken the same day their ‘Magic Dance’ video was taken seeing both were wearing the same clothes. In the short clip, Hero is seen holding a clapper as she sits on her mother’s lap and shouts ‘Filming with mommy take 1!”

In her caption, Cree described the scene as,

“Mama and Hero getting ready to shoot CNN’s GREAT BIG STORY.”

Many may have observed that Cree hasn’t been visible in the limelight for more than a decade but it’s only because she devoted more time to lending her voice to over 100 animated characters from 1983 to 2006. This includes characters in video games, cartoon TV series, animated films and commercials. She’s also ventured into singing and still continues to record music to this day.

Apart from that she’s a devoted mother who would often share her moments with her children on her social media account, whether they’re enjoying the outdoors or dressed in costumes or snuggling up to their father or just being wacky with her.
