Apollo and Sherien’s recent engagement has landed the latter a spot in the popular reality show. She’s set to appear in the upcoming ninth season where her romance with the incarcerated celebrity will be highlighted. One of the storylines will reportedly include her phone exchanges with her fiancé who she also visits at Fort Dix Correctional Facility often.

Photos of the engaged couple have recently surfaced celebrating their engagement which was reported last month. In the photos, Apollo, 38, is seen embracing his wife-to-be while holding hands. Sherien was dressed in a black shirt and pants while Apollo showcased his khaki-colored prison uniform. TMZ reported the snaps were taken in a spot in prison where photo sessions are usually held, as the couple stood against a romantic backdrop of flowers, a stone structure and a staircase fenced in black iron.

Though there were no visible rings spotted in their engagement pics, a more recent photo of Sherien’s hand revealed a hair-tie/paper towel makeshift ring in lieu of a sparkler. She reportedly got the stand-in ring during her visit to prison last week.

Apollo is currently serving an 8-year prison sentence for fraud.  His divorce from his ex-wife Phaedra was finalized last month with the 43-year-old attorney awarded full custody of their two sons, Ayden, 6, and Dylan, 3. Apollo was also guaranteed regular visits with his children upon his release from prison.
