Joanna Gaines shared a throwback photo to celebrate 15-year anniversary

Chip Gaines’ wife, Joanna, shared a sweet throwback photo of their wedding as they recently celebrated their 15th wedding anniversary. Chip shared a touching tweet as well.

Chip and Joanna tied the knot on May 31, 2003, at a Greek-inspired wedding and venue. This year, they celebrated their 15th anniversary and the pair took to social media to express their love for each other.

On Instagram, Joanna posted a photo from their wedding day to celebrate. On the caption, she mentioned that it had been ‘a good fifteen years’ with Chip and wished for fifty more years together.

In response, Chip wrote a heartwarming poem for his beloved wife on Twitter.

With all the business ventures the couple had been busy with, it seems impossible for them to have some alone time together yet somehow, they manage to do it.

It seems evident that the love between them continues to burn especially since they are about to welcome their fifth child in July 2018.

Their love story began when they met in 2001. Chip took notice of his wife on commercials where Joanna was endorsing her father’s tire shop.

It wasn’t a smooth beginning for the two since on their first date, Chip came an hour late. Joanna probably thought the potential relationship was bound to hit a dead end.

Even worse, Chip did not call her back afterward for months.

As it turned out, Chip was actually involved in a bet with his friend to see who could resist the urge to call their dates back.

As soon as the bet was over, Chip wasted no time and went on many dates with Joanna. After a few months, he finally proposed to her.

Chip took his then-wife-to-be to a shopping mall where he knelt down on one knee and asked her the big question. When she said yes, they walked into a jewelry store.
