Michael Weatherly took to Twitter to share a video and express his sadness as Pauley Perrette made an exit on NCIS.

Perrette had her last appearance on the show on May 8, 2018, after 15 years as Abby Sciuto. One of her biggest fans shared how he ‘can’t believe’ that the actress left the show for good.

That fan was none other than Weatherly, who played Special Agent Tony DiNozzo on the show.

The actor, who left the CBS show by the end of season 13, uploaded a nine-second video to share his sentiments about Perrette’s exit.

On the caption, he wrote, ‘What a great performance tonight by [Pauley Perrette].’

The video showed Weatherly walking on what looked like a sidewalk as he looked at the camera in disbelief and said, “I can’t believe Abby is leaving.”

On the last episode that featured Perrette, her character decided to leave the team so she could start a charity in London in honor of her late team member Clay Reeves – played by Duane Henry – who passed away protecting her.

The charity was supposedly going to be in Reeves’ mom’s name.

Prior to the airing of the episode, Weatherly already posted a video on Instagram saying that he was going to be watching Perrette’s series finale with a box of Kleenex.

On the caption, he wrote, ‘I will be watching #abby tonight on #ncis and telling my kids,"...it's ok. It's ok." Big kiss!’

The same post was shared on Twitter and Perrette replied, saying, ‘I love you [Michael Weatherly]. But you know that, and so does everyone else. My Brother.’

It seems that the cast of NCIS are really close and have been treating each other as family.

At present, Weatherly stars on Bulls, which airs every Tuesday at 9 p.m. on CBS. NCIS, on the other hand, airs an hour earlier on the same day. For more stories about Perrette’s exit, visit our Twitter account, @amomama_usa.
